AI Automation EngineerLocation: Al Manial, EgyptDepartment: IT ApplicationsReports To: IT Applications ManagerAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled AI Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement intelligent automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and streamline business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Generative AI, AI Agents, RAG architectures, system integrations, and workflow automation.In this role, you will build AI-powered assistants and copilots, integrate enterprise systems, and develop scalable automation solutions that support customer service, sales operations, and internal business functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions using AI/ML technologies, scripting, and automation tools.Build and integrate AI assistants, copilots, and agentic AI systems to improve business productivity and user experience.Develop production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and knowledge management systems.Design and implement integrations between applications, databases, APIs, and enterprise platforms.Automate business workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Monitor, maintain, and optimize automation solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve deployed AI and automation systems.Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations, and internal governance policies.Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.QualificationsEducation & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.Relevant certifications in AI, Machine Learning, MLOps, Generative AI, RAG Systems, Cloud Technologies, or Automation Platforms are considered a plus.Preferred CertificationsMLOps Fundamentals or Machine Learning Engineering Certification.RAG Systems Architecture Certification.Voice AI / Speech Recognition Systems Certification (preferred).Required Skills & ExperienceGenerative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs)Hands-on experience with modern LLMs such as LLaMA, Mistral, GPT-family models, or similar.Strong understanding of prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and multi-step reasoning.Experience building agentic AI systems and AI orchestration frameworks.Proficiency with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.Experience designing multi-agent systems and task orchestration pipelines.RAG & Knowledge SystemsProven experience building production-ready RAG architectures.Strong understanding of embeddings and vector databases such as Qdrant or similar platforms.Experience developing enterprise knowledge retrieval solutions.Integration & APIsStrong experience integrating AI solutions with backend systems and third-party services.Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integrations.ProgrammingAdvanced proficiency in Python.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.Experience with software engineering best practices and version control systems.What We’re Looking ForStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to translate business needs into technical AI solutions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Passion for innovation and emerging AI technologies.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
