As an Associate Software Engineer - Backend, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our web services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable web services that meet the evolving needs of our customers. What you will doWork closely with product managers, UX designers and architects to understand project requirements and technical specificationsDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards, security and performance benchmarksWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code, in accordance with coding standards and best practicesAnalyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues What you will haveBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)1+ years of relevant working experience in the software developmentStrong in data structure & algorithms and problem solvingStrong in programming with Java or any object-oriented languageStrong knowledge in database conceptsExpert in object-oriented design, secure coding and unit testingFlexible and willing to learn/work on new technologiesDetail-oriented, quick learner, problem solver and team player Nice to haveExperience working with RESTful webservicesWorked with MariaDB or MySQL databasesExperience in developing User Interface for web applicationsExperience with Docker and/or KubernetesUnderstanding of web, SSL, PKI, and other security related technologies BenefitsGenerous time off policiesTop shelf benefitsEducation, wellness and lifestyle support
