Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure data services, Databricks, and SQL fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Data Architect (minimum 3 years) and a solid background in building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and handling large-scale datasets.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows (ETL/ELT).Work with Azure data services and Databricks to deliver scalable solutions.Develop and optimize SQL queries and ensure robust database design.Orchestrate workflows using Airflow/Astronomer.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering operations.Handle large-scale structured and unstructured datasets for analytics and reporting.QualificationsBachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) – 4-year degree required.6–8 years of experience in Data Engineering.Minimum 3 years of Data Architect experience.Strong SQL and database fundamentals.Hands-on experience with Azure data services.Working knowledge of Databricks.Familiarity with Airflow/Astronomer workflows.Experience managing large-scale datasets (structured & unstructured).Essential SkillsDigital: DatabricksStrong SQL, Azure Data Services, ETL/ELT workflows
