This is not your typical stationary office role. While you will have an in-person home base, this is a unique mobile hybrid role where the location of your day changes with the schedule.You will work directly alongside the dentist to deliver high-quality general and specialized care directly to patients wherever they are. This includes conducting house calls, visiting senior living properties to care for wheelchair-bound or medically compromised patients, and participating in our "Dentist on Demand" corporate wellness program (transforming corporate conference rooms into temporary preventative care clinics).Key ResponsibilitiesMobile & House Call Support: Travel daily with the Dentist to private homes, senior living facilities, and corporate environments to provide bedside and on-site clinical care.Clinical Assisting: Provide chairside (and bedside) assistance for general dentistry and heavy "crown & bridge" procedures, including crown preps.Imaging & Diagnostics: Take high-quality X-rays and perform intra-oral imaging/scanning (experience with Dandy is a plus).Sterilization & Infection Control: Maintain rigid infection control, instrument sterilization, and equipment maintenance protocols across shifting clinical environments.Patient Care: Deliver compassionate, patient-centric care to a highly diverse population, including elderly, differently-abled, special needs, and medically complex patients.Leadership & Operations: Play an active role in the New York team’s local training and hiring processes as the market expands. Maintain seamless communication via Slack and Monday.com.Position Requirements & Physical DemandsAbsolute Reliability: Because mobile operations rely heavily on seamless scheduling and logistics, punctuality, transparency, and rock-solid dependability are strictly required.Physical Stamina: Must be able to handle the physical demands of a mobile practice, including the ability to lift and move 25–50 pounds of portable dental equipment daily.Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with lots of moving parts and shifting physical setups.QualificationsMust-Haves:Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting (DA or RDA).Active X-ray License and proven mastery of infection control/sterilization protocols.2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred (ideally with heavy exposure to crown/bridge prep).Proficiency in dental terminology and comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry practices.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, empathetic demeanor.Plusses (Nice-to-Haves):Direct experience assisting with Oral Surgery or Endodontics specialties.Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix and Dexis).Familiarity with digital intra-oral scanning (Dandy).Experience utilizing modern team collaboration tools (Slack, Monday.com)BENEFITSTransportation parking allowance $150-300 / monthCell phone reimbursement $50/monthMeals and groceries onsite weeklyMonthly team incentive programLongevity award program – value long term employees – 2% each yearGym membership – employer sponsored401k, medical, vision, and dental care
