The practice values reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ongoing learning in dentistry.Role Description The Dental Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. The person in this role will support the dentist during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments, and assisting chairside with examinations, cleanings, and restorative treatments. Daily responsibilities include setting up and breaking down operatories, sterilizing and arranging instruments, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring patient comfort before, during, and after procedures. The Dental Assistant will also help with taking and organizing patient records, updating charts as directed, managing basic front-desk coordination as needed, and monitoring inventory for clinical supplies. This role works closely with the dentist and other team members to maintain a smooth schedule and provide a positive, respectful experience for every patient.QualificationsStrong clinical support skills in Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care, with a focus on patient comfort and education.Proficiency in Sterilization and infection control protocols, including proper handling, cleaning, and storage of instruments and equipment.Hands-on experience or formal training in Dental Assisting, including chairside support and operatory preparation.Ability to follow clinical instructions accurately, pay close attention to detail, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional, respectful approach to patients and colleagues.High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program and relevant certifications (e.g., radiography, CPR) preferred.Ability to stand for extended periods, move safely in a clinical setting, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.Prior experience in a dental practice is preferred but motivated candidates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.English/SpanishDentrix or similimar software2 years experience dental practiceCad Cam/ digital flow /Digital Scanners/ Itero
