The organization is committed to building long-term relationships and advancing the future of industrial automation.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site IT/OT Integration Engineer role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are searching for a dedicated IT/OT Integration Engineer to own and drive our Industrial Digital Solutions in Saudi Arabia. This is a highly visible, hands-on technical role at the intersection of industrial automation and modern data infrastructure. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the bridge between IT systems and OT environments.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and maintain data connectivity from OT systems to the historian platform using OPC UA, OPC DA, MQTT, Modbus, and similar protocols.Reproduce customer issues, collect system logs, and coordinate with platform engineering teams for resolution.Troubleshoot software and infrastructure issues including services, ports, firewall rules, SSL certificates, networking, and remote access.Produce clear technical documentation, deployment guides, and issue reports for internal and client-facing use.Coordinate effectively across internal ADS teams and client organizations — serving as the central technical point of contact for the platform.Required Qualifications2–5 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT systems, industrial software platforms, historian systems, automation data infrastructure, or software deployment roles.Strong practical experience with Windows Server administration (installation, services, event logs, network configuration).Solid working knowledge of Linux — comfortable in the command line, managing services, reviewing logs, and handling file systems.Experience in Software Development and scripting (e.g., Python, C#, or similar) for integration, automation, and custom interface solutions.Hands-on integration experience with industrial protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) and connectivity between OT and IT systems.Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose — able to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized applications independently.Working knowledge of SQL and basic database concepts.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software systems using logs, service status, network tools, firewall rules, and SSL/certificate diagnostics.Familiarity with OT environments — SCADA, HMI, DCS, or industrial historian platforms (OSIsoft PI, Wonderware, Ignition, or similar).Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.Able to produce clear technical documentation and reports.Preferred QualificationsExperience with industrial communication protocols: OPC UA, OPC DA, MQTT, Modbus TCP/RTU.Exposure to time-series databases or industrial data historian platforms.Experience working with or deploying AI/ML-adjacent data platforms.Knowledge of network infrastructure relevant to OT environments (VLANs, firewalls, DMZ architecture).
