Lead Software Engineer

Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the delivery of robust and scalable software.Key Responsibilities:Design, code and maintain medium to large product features/modules as part of an agile feature teamUnderstand product features and contribute to user stories during refinement with product owners and product managersWork with Architects and other Senior Engineers during the technical design process by contributing to the analysis of technical application requirementsConvert technical solutions for features into low level design and working codeIndependently write secure and optimized code through implementation of client approved coding standards and NFR requirementsAdhere to client coding standards, guidelines and best practices and contribute to playbooks and other standards documentsWork with testers and product owners to get stories accepted before sprint closureDemo the accepted stories to business and IT stakeholdersBe open to feedback from retros and implement the necessary changes to improve coding or other skillsContinuously stay up to date with the relevant technologies and implement learnings to enhance code qualityRequirements:• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field9+ years of experience in Software Engineering preferably in agile ways of workingPractical agile software development experience and proficiency in usage of collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Mural etc.Strong understanding of modern integration patterns such as event-driven architecture, API-led connectivity, and microservices-based integrationKnowledge of domain-driven design concepts and have experience designing and implementing microservices using modern development practices and toolsGood understanding of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Delivery, security/data standards and policiesStrong analytical and technical design skillsProblem solving skills to resolving a variety of issues using system design tools as well as technical expertise in the listed technologiesStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills in performance monitoring and tuning application and database performance for large-scale distributed applicationsSolid understanding of testing concepts such as unit testing, functional testing, and toolsExperience working in enterprise or start-up environmentsGood communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other team members, including developers, testers, product owners and managers, scrum masters, architects, management team and Business and IT stakeholdersSenior applicants should be able to mentor, guide and manage other engineering team membersThe following would be beneficial:Experience working in a scaled agile environmentCertification in SAFe for TeamsExperience working in airline, airport or other aviation related products and projectsFamiliarity with AI assistant tools for coding and unit testingTechnology Stack experience:Frontend: SingleSPA, React.js 16+, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Express.jsBackend: Node.js, Spring Boot 2.X, Java 17+Mobile: React Native, Android NativeServers: Nginx, Apache Tomcat,Database: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, MariaDB, CouchbaseMessaging Systems: Solace, KafkaAPI Development: RESTful, PostMan, OpenAPIv3Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft AzureLinux Environments: Ubuntu, RedHat - OpenShiftVersion Control: Git, GitHub, GitLabCollaboration: Jira, Confluence, Miro, MuralCI/CD: Jenkins, TerraformAbout IGT SolutionsIGT Solutions is a next-gen Tech Services and Customer Experience (CX) company.
