The work environment supports professional growth, ethical practice, and respect for all individuals.Role Description The Nephrologist at DiaServ will provide comprehensive kidney care for adult patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic kidney diseases. This full-time, on-site role is based in Riyadh and involves conducting outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and consultations in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Daily responsibilities include managing dialysis patients, overseeing hemodialysis sessions, adjusting treatment plans, and coordinating with dialysis nursing staff and technicians. The Nephrologist will also assess and follow up on transplant candidates and recipients, optimize immunosuppressive regimens, and monitor long-term outcomes. Additional duties may include participating in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to clinical protocols, supervising junior medical staff, and engaging in patient and family education to support informed decision-making.Qualifications Strong clinical foundation in Medicine with board certification or equivalent qualification in Nephrology.Expertise in Nephrology, including evaluation and management of acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and related systemic conditions.Hands-on experience with Dialysis and Hemodialysis, including prescription, monitoring, complication management, and coordination with dialysis centers.Experience in Transplant nephrology, including pre-transplant evaluation, post-transplant follow-up, and immunosuppressive therapy management (or willingness to develop this expertise).Valid medical license (or eligibility) to practice as a Nephrologist in Saudi Arabia, with completion of relevant residency and fellowship training.Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and ability to interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, and biopsy results.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and provide clear patient education.Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care, continuous professional development, and participation in quality and safety initiatives.Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
