This travel will be dependent on the candidate’s location, varying between 2 – 4 times per monthRESPONSIBILITIES:As a rapidly growing organization, we are looking for a full-time Operations Director (OD) with strong business acumen and a proven track record of leadership. You will be responsible for the overall operations and success of the practices by performing the following:Drive revenue growth by overseeing orthodontic exam performance, managing pediatric dental productivity, and managing collectionsAchieve profitability targets through cost controls, overseeing payments and identifying new cost efficienciesBuild great teams by promoting company culture, coaching and development of staff, organizing team events, and working alongside HR for hiring needsMaximize patient satisfaction by ensuring customer service and attractive facilities, while also resolving any patient escalationsCreate and maintain a successful schedule for all clinical staff in the practiceConsistent communication with office staff and supervisors to address issues and review KPIsExecute, promote, and collaborate on regional marketing and community engagement strategiesAssist in practice-level HR duties such as enforcing the employee handbook, disciplinary action, pay structure, and performance reviewsAssure compliance for federal, state, and dental board guidelinesOversee and manage new projects, such as new software implementationREQUIRED SKILLS & TRAITSStrong organizational skills, analytical, and attention to detailHumble yet confident leadership skills with strong interpersonal abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize as neededAbility to drive, have a valid driver’s license, and periodically travelEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION3+ years in dentistry and / or a dental service organizationExperience leading teams of 10+ peopleExperience managing a P&L or achieving revenue targetsBachelor’s degree preferredKnowledge of Microsoft office business applicationsBENEFITSCompetitive base compensationSignificant performance-based bonus compensationMedicalHybrid work modelPaid Time offOpportunity for career growthLaptop / Cellphone401K MatchYOU WILL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU ARE:Looking to take on a high degree of ownership: our philosophy is the more you excel, the more responsibility you take on.
