Senior Analytics & AI Architect

ConnectSquads, the IT Recruitment & Staff Augmentation division of Connectalents, is currently hiring an Analytics & AI Architect for a leading global AI-enhanced research and analytics organization based in Cairo.Job RoleDesign and implement enterprise-scale Analytics, Data, and AI architectures.Architect modern data platforms using cloud-native technologies and Lakehouse architectures.Design scalable ETL/ELT frameworks, data pipelines, and data integration solutions.Lead Data & AI transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries.Design and implement end-to-end Analytics platforms and AI-driven solutions.Build and optimize modern data ecosystems leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, and cloud technologies.Design and implement MLOps frameworks to support model deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.Support AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) initiatives.Establish and enforce Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Security, and Compliance standards.Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation roadmaps.Lead architecture workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution design discussions with stakeholders and clients.Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across engagements.Ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and security of all designed solutions.RequirementsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.Minimum 6+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data & AI architectures.Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong expertise in Databricks and/or Snowflake.Experience designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures.Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and modern data engineering practices.Experience building scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.Hands-on experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, AWS SageMaker, or Azure Machine Learning.Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Security, and Compliance frameworks.Experience managing the full Machine Learning lifecycle from development to deployment and monitoring.Experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.Knowledge of Generative AI, Vector Databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.Experience working with clients across multiple industries and business domains.Ability to lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution workshops.Experience mentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership.Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Work ConditionsLocation: Cairo, EgyptWork Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMDays Off: Friday & SaturdayCompany Laptop ProvidedCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive Salary PackageExposure to International Clients and Cross-Industry ProjectsContinuous Learning and Professional Development Opportunities
