Their flagship product is an AI-enabled logistics command-and-control platform that gives commanders a single, real-time operating picture of their sustainment fight, from inventory and distribution to medical and operational planning, even in a degraded and contested environment.They are a small, fast-moving team combining deep DoD operational experience with rigorous software discipline. They embed directly with military units during exercises, ship constantly, and stay close to their users.About the RoleThis hire will own the cloud backbone powering the platform across cloud and edge environments. This is a platform engineering + SRE hybrid role focused on scaling an early-stage platform into a highly available, multi-environment system.What You'll Do Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS and multi-cloud environments.Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes (EKS and beyond) for scalability and reliability.Build infrastructure-as-code with Terraform for deployments.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery.Implement observability systems (metrics, logs, tracing) to monitor system health.Support edge-deployed system integration, including synchronization and deployment workflows across distributed environments.Debug and resolve production issues across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.Required Qualifications5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineeringStrong AWS production experienceExperience with KubernetesProficiency with Terraform or equivalent IaC toolingCI/CD pipeline experienceNice to HaveMulti-cloud or heterogeneous infrastructure experienceKubernetes at the edge (k3s, RKE2) or constrained/on-prem deploymentExperience with intermittently connected or distributed node systemsGovCloud or a regulated environment exposureInternal platform/developer infrastructure background
