Senior Software Engineer – Engineering Systems IntegrationsAI Infrastructure for Mechanical Engineering | Series A | San FranciscoWe're hiring Senior Software Engineers to join a $32M Eric Schmidt-backed startup building the AI infrastructure layer for mechanical engineering.The platform connects directly into CAD, CAE, PLM, and simulation software, allowing engineers to automate complex engineering workflows through AI agents. Customers already include Tesla, BMW, Meta, and Amazon, with more than 1,000 production workflows running on the platform today.You'll own the integrations that connect the platform to some of the most complex engineering software in the world — including SolidWorks, Creo, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Abaqus, and COMSOL.You'll Work On:Building production-grade integrations with CAD, CAE, PLM, and simulation softwareReverse-engineering and navigating complex, underdocumented APIsCOM interfaces, native SDKs, IPC layers, and proprietary automation frameworksDelivering multiple production-ready integrations each quarterDesigning integrations that work reliably across customer environments, software versions, and license configurationsCreating reusable integration patterns and best practices across the platformWorking closely with platform, AI agent, and domain engineering teamsWhat We're Looking For:3+ years of software engineering experience Experience building systems-level integrations with third-party tools, SDKs, or platformsStrong experience in C# or C/C++, Python, TypeScriptProven track record of shipping production software in complex environmentsWhy Join?Work on some of the hardest integration problems in software engineeringDirectly unlock entire engineering ecosystems through the integrations you buildFocus on deep technical integration work while dedicated platform teams handle deployment and infrastructureJoin an early-stage company with significant customer traction and enterprise adoptionHelp shape both the product and engineering culture as the company scalesThis Role Is:100% onsite — downtown San FranciscoUp to $230K base salary + meaningful equity
