Location: Client premises, Dubai, UAE (onsite)Salary: AED 10,000 – 13,000 per monthBenefits: Work visa, annual air tickets, medical insurance, gratuity, paid time offExperience Required: 5–8 years of relevant experienceReference: FZ-AE-408We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep database and data-warehousing expertise to design and build scalable data solutions across cloud and on-premise platforms. The role centres on advanced SQL and PL/SQL development, ETL and data-integration design, and performance tuning over large, complex datasets, working closely with both technical and business teams to deliver robust, analytics-ready data.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build database and data-warehouse solutions, working with complex, disparate data sources to deliver clean, analytics-ready data.Develop, optimise, and debug complex SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures, including bulk data processing over large datasets.Design modular, reusable ETL components and data-integration pipelines that scale across Oracle and Amazon Redshift environments.Perform data transformation and analysis, applying sound data modelling, schema design, and query-optimisation practices.Tune the performance of data flows and SQL queries, and identify and resolve ETL and data-related issues efficiently.Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather data-integration requirements and deliver against shared project goals.Required Skills & Experience5 to 8 years of software / data engineering experience with strong, hands-on Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development.Hands-on experience with Oracle and Amazon Redshift databases, including data modelling, schema design, and query optimisation.Proven experience designing and building ETL and data-integration solutions, including bulk data processing for large-scale pipelines.Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud data services; exposure to Hadoop, Hive, or Spark is an advantage.Experience with a BI platform (MicroStrategy preferred) for delivering reporting and analytics-ready data.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills, with solid communication for cross-functional work; airline/aviation domain exposure is a plus.
