Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive manual testing, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The candidate should have strong experience working in Agile environments and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business and technical requirements.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure complete test coverage.Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners throughout the software development lifecycle.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.Ensure software releases meet quality standards and business expectations.Provide clear and concise test reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance processes and methodologies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.4–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Manual Testing.Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Good negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience in the Telecommunications industry is a plus.Knowledge of test automation concepts is an advantage.ISTQB certification is a plus.
