Senior Web Application Developer, finance (contract)

We are looking for a Senior Web Application Developer with to join our team and help design, build and enhance secure, scalable web applications. This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who enjoys working across the full delivery lifecycle, collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders, and contributing to high-quality digital solutions in a structured, regulated environment. You will play a key role in delivering modern web applications and APIs, ensuring solutions are developed to agreed timelines, quality standards and architectural best practice. You will also bring a mindset of continuous improvement, helping to strengthen delivery processes and technical outcomes across projects.Key deliverables Conduct development activities such as coding, testing and documentationDeliver technical solutions within the agreed time, cost and quality boundariesAdhere to all established Software Lifecycle practices throughout the projectIdentify opportunities for continuous improvements at both a delivery and project levelLiaise with business and I.T stakeholders such as Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Lead Solution Developer and Quality AssuranceProvide technical advice and guidance in the development of solutionsRequirements8+ years experience as a Web Application DeveloperPrevious experience working with banking systems and authorisations/supervisory systems within financial organisationsThorough knowledge and experience of C#,.NET, .NET Core, Typescript & JavascriptStrong knowledge of Angular concepts and proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Angular SPA architecture. Knowledge of Angular application design best practices and patternsStrong understanding and recent experience designing REST style API, and experience designing back-end for Single PageApplications using C# and Microsoft WebAPIStrong understanding of code release cycle through AzureDevOps pipelinesPrevious experience working with banking systems and authorisations//supervisory systems within financial organisationsDiploma/degree qualification in ITExcellent communications skills both written and verbalComfortable with a hybrid working arrangement
