At Al-Qadsiah, you’ll play a key role in shaping our legacy, contributing to the nation’s sports vision, and making history every step of the way.Overview:As the Software Engineer at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will develop and maintain Al Qadsiah’s in-house dashboard application, and cloud infrastructure supporting the increased use of data within the First Team and Academy. This role will enhance the club’s technology infrastructure and data-driven decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:Application DevelopmentDevelop and maintain an in-house dashboard for football analytics.Implement front-end and back-end solutions.Design user-friendly interfaces and improve usability based on feedback from stakeholders.Optimize application performance and ensure scalability to handle increasing data loads.Data Management and IntegrationDesign and manage data pipelines, integrating multiple sources using Python and SQL.Maintain and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).Cloud InfrastructureDeploy and manage cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform.Ensure cloud security, networking, and infrastructure reliability.Optimize cloud resource allocation for cost efficiency and scalability.Manage cloud-based storage solutions for high-performance data access and retrieval.Manage the Kubernetes / Docker ecosystemsCollaboration and Stakeholder EngagementWork with data and video analysts, coaches, performance and technical staff to deliver effective tools.Present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Qualifications:Essential:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant fieldMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experienceSkills, Knowledge and Experience:Essential:Proficiency in Python and data visualization libraries (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly, Dash)Experience with Django and API development (Flask, FastAPI)Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Networking, Google Kubernetes Engine)Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native/FlutterStrong understanding of Docker and KubernetesExperience with GitHub for version controlStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced football environmentAbility to present and explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholdersDesirable:Strong SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) knowledgeWhy Join Al-Qadsiah?Be Part of the Legacy: Join a club that’s redefining the future of Saudi sports, striving to lead the competition and set new standards of excellence.Experience the Culture: Thrive in an environment that values quality, accountability, diversity, synergy, innovation, and ambition, while embracing harmony—this is the Qadsiah Way.The Executives in Sport Group are retained on behalf of Al Qadsiah SC to make this appointment.
