This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment where technology is central to the firm’s success across multiple asset classes.The RoleThey’ll find the best team to suit your skillset/interests but you could be working on:• Some of the world’s most performant ETL pipelines that deal with billions of data points every second• Software solutions/products with scale, reliability and latency considerations in mind• R&D work for functional programming (either pre-existing languages (such as Rust and Erlang), or purpose-built languages similar to OCaml• Machine Learning Infrastructure and search models• Quant Logic/Research models for Alpha GenerationKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applicationsBuild robust backend systems using Python and/or modern frontend interfaces using ReactCollaborate with cross-functional teams including traders and quantsRequirements1-5 years of professional software engineering experienceStrong experience in Python and/or ReactBachelors Degree in Computer Science (or similar) is preferredIf the above is of interest, please apply or email me directly at agreen@hunterbond.com
