About The RoleAs a Software Lifecycle & Integrations Engineer, you will design and deliver the technical foundations that make software governance scalable: integrations, automations, workflow orchestration, and reliability patterns across the tooling ecosystem (identity, SaaS management, procurement/intake, ITSM, and inventory). This is a hands-on engineering role that also owns the technical dimension of software reviews: validating vendor technical capabilities (SSO/SCIM, audit logs, admin controls, data flows), assessing integration feasibility, and translating review outcomes into implementable technical controls and automations. In This Role, You WillBuild and IntegrateDesign and implement integrations and automations across identity platforms, SaaS management tooling, procurement/intake systems, and IT service workflows using APIs and modern automation frameworks.Build reliable orchestration patterns (idempotency, retries, DLQs/queues where applicable, backfills, reconciliation jobs) to prevent entitlement drift and data integrity issues.Develop and maintain reusable integration components, connectors, and workflow templates to reduce per-vendor onboarding effort.Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability for lifecycle automations (provisioning success rates, sync latency, failures, exceptions).Engineer the Software Review Workflow (Not Just Participate)Lead the technical portion of software reviews by validating:SSO support and authentication modelsSCIM / provisioning feasibility and constraintsAdmin and audit log capabilitiesData flow/integration patterns (APIs, webhooks, event patterns)Access model fit (human login vs API-only, service accounts, least privilege)Produce implementation-ready outputs: integration approach, access control design, required system fields, and operational runbooks.Operationalize GovernanceEncode governance into systems: required fields, routing logic, control checks, evidence capture, exception handling, and auditable decision records.Partner with Security/GRC to ensure controls are embedded by design (segregation of duties, audit readiness, escalation paths).Support release/testing cycles: functional testing, UAT support, reconciliation, and migration validation for changes to workflows and integrations. You Might Thrive in This Role If You Have6-10+ years of experience building integrations, automations, or internal platforms in enterprise environments.Strong proficiency with API integrations and data modeling (REST, JSON; familiarity with event-driven patterns is a plus).Hands-on identity and access experience in enterprise SaaS contexts (Okta/Entra or equivalent), including SSO concepts and provisioning models.Experience building reliability into automation (monitoring, error handling, backoff/retry, reconciliation, and operational runbooks).Ability to translate ambiguous business workflows into secure, maintainable technical systems.Comfort operating in cross-functional governance environments with clear boundaries and escalation discipline.Required QualificationsSystems & Integration Architecture: Ability to design scalable, secure integration patterns across systems (API-based, event-driven, or workflow-based), including data flow modeling, authentication boundaries, and resilience patterns.Enterprise Identity & Provisioning Expertise: Practical experience with SSO (SAML/OIDC) and SCIM provisioning, including group-based access control, lifecycle management (joiner/mover/leaver), and entitlement modeling.Production-Grade Automation Engineering: Ability to build maintainable automation in a primary language (e.g., Python, TypeScript/Node, or Go) with logging, testing, version control, and structured deployment practices.Reliability & Observability Mindset: Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, reconciliation jobs, and drift detection to ensure integration health and prevent access or data inconsistencies.Technical Software Review Capability: Proven ability to evaluate vendor technical claims (SSO, admin controls, APIs, audit logs), assess integration feasibility, and translate findings into implementable access and governance controls.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SaaS management platforms (inventory, license signals, lifecycle controls).Familiarity with audit/control expectations (SOX-style evidence, change controls, access governance).Experience building internal tooling (workflow engines, forms/intake services, connectors).Pay Rate: $80-$95/hour DOE
