The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work closely with sales teams, engineers, and manufacturers to deliver optimized high-frequency power solutions using advanced GaN and Silicon technologies.This is a customer-facing technical role requiring strong design, troubleshooting, and application engineering expertise.Key Responsibilities:Provide switching power supply design support using company productsDeliver expert technical guidance and support to customers worldwideAnalyze customer technical issues and recommend optimized solutionsConduct detailed design reviews including:SchematicsPCB layoutsMagnetics designPower supply performance analysisProvide component selection recommendations for best-in-class power supply performanceSupport sales teams during customer visits and technical engagementsConduct technical training sessions, seminars, and trade show demonstrationsCollaborate with engineering and product teams on application improvements and customer feedbackRequired Skills & Qualifications:BSEE / MSEE or equivalent foreign degreeBSEE with 7+ years OR MSEE with 4+ years of relevant experienceStrong hands-on experience with:Power supply designPower electronicsSwitching power suppliesTransformer and inductor designFamiliarity with power supply topologies including:BuckBoostBuck-BoostFlyback ConvertersAbility to perform complex circuit calculations and worst-case analysisExperience with tools such as:MATLABExcelC++SIMPLISLTspiceStrong lab experience testing high-frequency switching power suppliesExcellent technical communication, documentation, and reporting skillsAbility to travel to customer locations (~10%)Preferred Qualifications:Experience developing firmware using C/C++ for embedded controllers in power supply applicationsAbility to provide firmware coding guidance for power electronics applicationsExperience working with GaN and Silicon-based power technologiesKey Skills:Power ElectronicsSwitching Power SuppliesGaN / Silicon TechnologiesPower Supply DesignMATLAB / LTspice / SIMPLISEmbedded C/C++Soft Skills:Strong customer-facing communication skillsProblem-solving and analytical mindsetAbility to work independently in fast-paced environmentsStrong collaboration and presentation abilitiesWork Environment:Full-time onsite role in San Jose, CACustomer-facing technical engineering environmentHigh-performance power electronics and semiconductor solutions focus
