Intetics Inc., a leading American technology company specializing in custom software application development, distributed professional teams creation, software product quality assessment, and "all-things-digital" solutions, is on the lookout for a Lead/Principal Front-End Architect to join our team and provide exceptional customer support.ResponsibilitiesDesign and own front-end architecture using Next.js, React, and TypeScript for enterprise commerce solutionsLead architectural decisions around rendering strategies, including SSR, edge, and serverlessDefine approaches for state management, caching, and Core Web Vitals optimizationDocument key architectural decisions in ADRsBreak down epics into clear, implementable user stories with acceptance criteriaEstimate technical complexity and help resolve ambiguity before sprint executionDefine coding standards, conventions, and engineering workflows optimized for both engineers and AI agentsCollaborate directly with clients during discovery sessionsTranslate business requirements into technical architecture roadmapsUnblock distributed engineering teams and support delivery across multiple workstreamsClearly explain technical decisions and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequirements3+ years of experience leading front-end architecture decisions for distributed engineering teams of 3+ peopleDeep proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScriptStrong experience with Next.js App Router and React Server ComponentsProven experience architecting enterprise commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, or similarStrong expertise in performance engineering and Core Web Vitals optimization, including LCP, CLS, INP, caching, and CDNExperience structuring specifications, documentation, and tasks for AI agent execution, such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar toolsExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsStrong client-facing communication skillsAbility to explain architectural decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholdersExperience working with distributed engineering teamsNice to HaveExperience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, or ContentstackExperience architecting headless commerce or composable storefrontsExperience with Shopify Storefront API or Salesforce Commerce Cloud Composable StorefrontFamiliarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or PlaywrightExperience with SCAYLEExperience working across async-first distributed teams in multiple time zones
