2292 - Assistant Manager / Manager - AIFM Compliance

GOTOfreedom is recruiting an Assistant Manager – AIFM Compliance for an established investment management group. You will join a professional, collaborative environment where sound judgement, practical solutions and teamwork matter.Your role Working closely with the Compliance Officer, with daily exchanges and a shared approach to priorities, you will contribute to the effectiveness of the AIFM's compliance framework.Support the Compliance Officer and Conducting Officers in their daily responsibilities.Maintain and enhance existing compliance policies, procedures, controls and monitoring programmes.Perform compliance reviews, testing and follow-up on remediation actions.Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact and contribute to gap analyses.Prepare clear, accurate compliance and governance reports.Conduct service provider due diligence and support internal audits.Work closely with internal stakeholders, legal advisers and the wider compliance team.The objective is not to reinvent the wheel, but to build on existing frameworks, identify practical improvements and ensure effective execution.Your profile Master's degree in Law, Economics or equivalent.At least 4–5 years of compliance experience within a Luxembourg AIFM managing private equity funds.Solid knowledge of Luxembourg regulations, CSSF requirements and AIFMD.Excellent drafting skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured and precise documentation.Pragmatic and solution-oriented, with sound judgement and a hands-on approach.A genuine team player, comfortable working closely with the Compliance Officer and exchanging information daily.Clear, concise and accurate communication, both written and verbal.Well organised, reliable and able to manage priorities independently.Fluent in English.The GOTOfreedom consultant's perspective This opportunity is particularly suited to someone who enjoys making compliance work in practice rather than adding unnecessary complexity.
