The 3D Character Modelling and Sculpting Faculty will teach students the fundamentals and advanced techniques of character design, modeling, and digital sculpting, including anatomy, form, proportion, and stylization. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures and practical sessions, demonstrating workflows in industry-standard 3D software, guiding students through assignments and projects, and providing constructive feedback on their work. The faculty member will also participate in curriculum development, maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and tools, support portfolio preparation, and collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive program outcomes.Qualifications Strong expertise in 3D character modeling and digital sculpting, including knowledge of anatomy, topology, and character design principles.Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Maya/3ds Max/Blender and sculpting software like ZBrush or equivalent.Experience teaching, mentoring, or conducting workshops in animation, gaming, or related multimedia fields, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Practical production experience in animation, VFX, gaming, or film-making pipelines, including asset creation and optimization for real-time or cinematic use.Ability to design lesson plans, evaluate student work objectively, and provide detailed feedback focused on skill development and industry readiness.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to an inclusive, supportive learning environment.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Animation, Game Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.A portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D character models and sculpts, demonstrating both technical skill and artistic creativity.
