3D Event Designer

Door No.1 Events is a Dubai-based event production company. We create launches, townhalls, brand activations and corporate events for some of the region’s best-known names. We’re looking for a 3D designer who can turn a client brief into a space people walk into and remember.The roleYou’ll be the person who makes our ideas visible. You’ll take concepts from our Creative Director and Account team and turn them into 3D visuals that win pitches. You’ll then produce the technical drawings that our production partners build from. You’ll work fast and to tight deadlines, and the work you create will end up as real stages and spaces in real venues.What you’ll doCreate photorealistic 3D renders of stages, exhibition stands, gala dinners, activations and full venue layouts for pitches and client approvalsProduce accurate 2D technical drawings in AutoCAD, including floor plans, elevations, sections and fabrication drawingsTurn rough sketches, mood boards and client briefs into strong design conceptsDevelop several design options under pitch deadlines, often with 24–48 hour turnaroundsWork with suppliers and fabricators so that designs are buildable, on budget and to scaleMake venue site visits to take measurements and check feasibilityRevise designs quickly based on client and internal feedbackPrepare walkthrough animations and 360° views when a project needs themKeep an organised library of models, materials and past projectsWhat you’ll bring3–5 years’ experience as a 3D designer, ideally with an event management, exhibition or production company in the UAE or GCCExpert skills in 3ds Max and V-RayStrong skills in AutoCAD for technical and fabrication drawingsWorking knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator; SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Lumion, Enscape or Unreal Engine are a plusA solid understanding of event structures, staging, trussing, LED screens, lighting and venue constraintsA complete portfolio or Behance profile showing both concept renders and drawings that have been builtComfort working under pressure, with an eye for detail that stays sharp at 2am before a pitchA degree or diploma in interior design, architecture, product design or a related fieldGood spoken and written EnglishWhat we offerMonthly salary of up to AED 10,000, depending on experienceUAE employment visa, medical insurance and annual leave as per UAE labour law
