By handling modeling, UV mapping, normal mapping, and integration with minimal oversight.What it means on a daily basisDeliver low-poly 3D models for characters, environment, and propsDeliver high-poly sculpture with high-quality respect for the art brief, instructions, and received feedbackHandle all 3D production steps, including modeling, map baking (UV, Normal, Specular...), texturing, rendering, and implementation in the engineCorrectly get and update the tasks from Jira and provide clear status updates to the team. What success will look likeDeliver art assets that meet the technical requirements defined and overseen by the Art and Tech leaders of the project, allowing a smooth handling of the asset to other artists following the pipeline and/or allowing a smooth integration into the game engine. Be able to adjust to new tools, engines, workflows/pipelines, art styles, and directionsDeliver art assets within the timeline defined by the Art and Project leaders for this project and the junior seniority (can be an average of delivery time, as some assets might be delayed but others finished ahead of time)Who you would be working withYou will be working with the GFX Studio Artist Lead, Producer, GFX team, GD team, Dev team, and QA teamWhere can this role take you?Advance into focused roles such as Character Artist, Environment Artist, Technical Artist, or VFX Artist. Opportunities to contribute to 2D Art, Concept Design, and Rigging/Animation. Step up to Senior 3D Artist, GFX Lead, or Art Director positions on new and live titles. Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush) and texturing tools (Substance 3D Painter, Photoshop). Understanding of mobile performance constraints (poly counts, texture atlasing, and LODs). Well-developed eye for form, silhouette, color, and visual storytelling in stylized or realistic art styles. Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and cross-discipline teamwork. WHO YOU ARETake constructive critique positively. You communicate clearly and work effectively. Stay flexible when priorities or pipelines shift. Have a real interest in video games and a keen willingness to learn new tools, pipelines, and techniques.
