3D Matrix CAD Designer

Position: 3D Matrix CAD DesignerIndustry: Fine Jewelry ManufacturingExperience: 3–4 YearsLocation: Surat (Gujrat)Key Responsibilities:Create accurate 3D CAD models for engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and other fine jewelry.Develop designs using Matrix 9, Rhino, and ZBrush.Convert sketches, reference images, and customer requirements into production-ready CAD designs.Create custom jewelry designs based on diamond dimensions, shapes, and setting requirements.Ensure proper measurements, stone settings, metal thickness, durability, and manufacturing feasibility.Make design changes and revisions according to customer or production-team feedback.Prepare STL files for 3D printing and jewelry production.Create high-quality renders for customer approval when required.Coordinate with the production, stone-setting, and quality-control teams.Complete assigned designs accurately within the given timelines.Maintain organized records of CAD files, revisions, and final production files.Required Skills:Strong working knowledge of Matrix 9 and Rhino.Knowledge of ZBrush for detailed or organic jewelry designs.Good understanding of jewelry manufacturing, casting, stone setting, polishing, and finishing.Ability to work with different diamond shapes, sizes, prong styles, halos, pavé, and custom settings.Strong understanding of jewelry measurements, proportions, metal weight, and production tolerances.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to understand sketches, reference images, and customer instructions.Good time-management and communication skills.Candidate Requirements:Minimum 3–4 years of experience in jewelry CAD designing.Previous experience designing fine jewelry and engagement rings is preferred.Must be able to create production-ready designs independently.Candidates should provide a portfolio or samples of their previous CAD work.
