With a focus on long-term partnerships, BilletTech is committed to delivering reliable products, technical expertise, and tailored aluminum solutions.Role Description The 4-Axis CNC Machining Center Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm Al Quwain. The operator will set up, program, and run 4-axis CNC machining centers to produce aluminum components according to technical drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting and installing tools, loading materials, performing test runs, monitoring machine performance, and adjusting parameters to maintain accuracy and surface quality. The role also involves inspecting finished parts with appropriate measuring instruments, documenting production data, and performing routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. The operator will collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to prioritize jobs, optimize cycle times, follow safety procedures, and support continuous improvement in machining processes.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in operating CNC machining centers, preferably 4-axis, including machine setup, programming adjustments, and production monitoring.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM outputs, and work instructions, with strong understanding of machining tolerances and finishes.Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for dimensional inspection and quality control of aluminum components.Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and best practices for machining aluminum profiles and extrusions.Familiarity with basic machine maintenance, fault identification, and coordination with maintenance teams for repairs and servicing.Commitment to workplace safety, housekeeping, and adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and within a production team.Prior experience in aluminum fabrication or extrusion environments is an advantage; vocational or technical training in machining or manufacturing is preferred.Willingness to work on-site in Umm Al Quwain, with flexibility for shift work based on production needs.
