The A Level Technician is responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Subaru vehicles and other makes as needed. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, conducting thorough inspections, and completing manufacturer-recommended services to high safety and quality standards. The role involves accurately documenting work performed, collaborating with service advisors and other technicians, and following dealership and manufacturer procedures. The A Level Technician also supports continuous improvement by staying current with Subaru technical updates, participating in training, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized service environment.Qualifications Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills, including experience with engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems.Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and computer-based service and repair systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer service bulletins.Solid understanding of vehicle safety standards, quality control practices, and preventive maintenance.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians.Commitment to customer-focused service, reliability, and professional conduct in a fast-paced environment.ASE certifications and/or manufacturer-specific training (Subaru experience preferred) are highly beneficial.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.Previous experience as an A Level or master-level technician in a dealership or equivalent repair facility.Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development to maintain expertise with evolving vehicle technology.
