ABAP Developer (L2)

We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer to support a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a leading organization in the Power Generation Equipment – Sales, Rental & Service sector. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting custom ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms across the SAP landscape. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and Fiori/OData development.RequirementsRequirements· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.· 3–6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, including at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation or support project.· Strong expertise in ABAP programming: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).· Experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData service development.· Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 backend development and Fiori Elements is preferred.· Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and SAP Workflow.· Good understanding of debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization techniques.· Experience integrating custom developments with SAP Integration Suite/CPI, IDocs, and APIs.· Familiarity with SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and SAPUI5 application development is a plus.· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Willingness to work in an offshore delivery model with flexible shift timings to support onsite/global stakeholders.· Design, develop, and unit test custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFW objects).· Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.· Implement enhancements using BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework based on functional specifications.· Support development of SAP Workflow processes and custom forms (Smart Forms/Adobe Forms).· Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.· Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of custom developments.· Support data migration activities including LSMW/BDC/LTMC development where required.· Participate in unit testing, SIT, UAT support, and defect resolution.· Prepare and maintain technical documentation for custom developments.· Provide L2 development support, including incident resolution and minor enhancements for the production landscape.
