Position OverviewWindsor University is seeking an organized, research-oriented Academic Accreditation Coordinator to support the University’s accreditation, institutional compliance, and continuous improvement activities.The Academic Accreditation Coordinator will work closely with academic and administrative departments to review accreditation standards, organize supporting evidence, prepare institutional documentation, monitor compliance requirements, and assist with accreditation applications, reports, self-studies, and review processes.The ideal candidate has a strong academic or research background, excellent attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to interpret standards and translate them into practical institutional requirements.Key Responsibilities• Review and interpret accreditation standards, policies, and institutional requirements.• Support the preparation of accreditation applications, self-studies, reports, and supporting documentation.• Collect, organize, and maintain evidence demonstrating institutional compliance.• Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to obtain required information and documentation.• Conduct research related to higher education regulations, accreditation requirements, institutional policies, and best practices.• Monitor accreditation deadlines, reporting requirements, and institutional action items.• Assist in reviewing University policies, procedures, catalogs, academic documents, and institutional materials for consistency and compliance.• Support preparation for accreditation reviews, site visits, and follow-up activities.• Maintain organized accreditation records and documentation.• Assist with institutional assessment, continuous improvement, and quality assurance initiatives.• Track changes in accreditation standards and communicate relevant requirements to appropriate departments.• Prepare summaries, reports, presentations, and working documents for University leadership.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or postgraduate study preferred.• Experience in academic work, teaching, research, quality assurance, higher education administration, or institutional assessment is preferred.• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, Academic Coordinator, Quality Assurance Specialist, or similar academic role is highly desirable.• Strong research, analytical, and academic writing skills.• Excellent attention to detail and document organization.• Strong written and spoken English.• Ability to interpret detailed standards and translate them into practical institutional requirements.• Strong Microsoft Office and document management skills.• Ability to work collaboratively across academic and administrative departments.Preferred ProfileCandidates with experience in academic research, higher education, curriculum development, assessment, quality assurance, accreditation, or institutional effectiveness are strongly encouraged to apply.Join Windsor University and contribute to strengthening institutional quality, compliance, and academic excellence.
