The Academic Advisor will guide prospective and current learners through program selection, enrollment, and academic planning, ensuring alignment with their educational and career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions (online and in person), explaining program structures and outcomes, and helping learners understand eligibility, curricula, and progression pathways. The role involves tracking learner progress, identifying support needs, and collaborating with internal teams to provide timely interventions and resources. The Academic Advisor will also participate in outreach activities, maintain accurate advising records, and contribute feedback to improve learner experience and program effectiveness.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong student counseling and academic advising skills to support learners throughout their education journey.Candidates should possess effective communication skills to clearly explain programs, policies, and pathways to diverse learner profiles.Candidates should possess career counseling and education-focused skills to connect academic choices with real-world career opportunities.Candidates should possess the ability to build trust, show empathy, and maintain a learner-centric approach in all interactions.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field are preferred.Prior experience in academic advising, student support, or EdTech environments will be an advantage.Comfort with digital tools, CRM or student information systems, and data-driven decision-making is beneficial.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple learner cases simultaneously are required.
