The role involves advising students on programs, course planning, academic progress, and available learning resources while working closely with faculty and administrative teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personalized academic advising based on students’ goals, interests, and educational needs.Help students understand program structures, course requirements, and academic policies.Support course selection, academic planning, and progression toward graduation.Monitor student progress and identify potential academic challenges or support needs.Conduct individual advising sessions through online meetings, email, and digital platforms.Maintain accurate and confidential student advising records.Explain academic procedures, deadlines, enrollment requirements, and institutional resources.Coordinate with faculty, admissions, student services, and academic departments when necessary.Refer students to appropriate academic, career, wellbeing, or support services when required.Assist students with academic concerns and develop practical action plans.Track advising activities, student interactions, and follow-up requirements.Support orientation, academic workshops, webinars, and student engagement activities.Prepare reports and summaries related to advising activities and student progress.Contribute ideas to improve student services, advising processes, and digital learning experiences.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in academic advising, student services, education, counseling, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.Strong understanding of academic planning, student support, and educational processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal, listening, and relationship-building abilities.Ability to explain complex academic information clearly and professionally.Strong organization, documentation, and time-management skills.Comfortable using online learning platforms, student information systems, and collaboration tools.Ability to work independently and support students in a fully remote environment.Professional certifications are not required unless specifically requested.What We OfferFully remote, part-time working arrangement.Flexible schedule within an international education environment.Competitive compensation based on experience and responsibilities.Opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to student academic development.Exposure to digital education platforms and modern student-support practices.Professional growth opportunities across academic and education-related functions.Collaborative environment focused on student success, innovation, and continuous improvement.
