Avirbhav Infotech is dedicated to helping beginners transition into confident, employable digital marketers.Role Description The Academic Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Academic Advisor will guide prospective and current learners in selecting suitable courses and learning paths aligned with their career goals. This role involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, providing academic and career advice, and supporting learners throughout their training journey. The Academic Advisor will collaborate with instructors and the placement team to track learner progress, address academic challenges, and ensure timely interventions. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, contributing to orientation sessions, and participating in outreach activities to improve learner engagement and satisfaction.Qualifications Strong student counseling and academic advising skills to support learners in course and pathway selection.Career counseling abilities with a solid understanding of education and training options in digital marketing.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain academic and career information clearly and empathetically.Familiarity with educational or training environments and learner support processes.Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively with teaching and placement teams.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.Experience in academic advising, student services, or career guidance, preferably within vocational or professional training institutes.Proficiency in local language (Tamil) and English for effective communication with diverse learners.
