The Academic Advisor will guide learners throughout their educational journey, providing individualized academic advising, student counseling, and career counseling aligned with program outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group advising sessions, helping learners select appropriate courses or programs, and monitoring academic progress to identify and address challenges early. The role involves collaborating with faculty and internal teams to ensure a supportive learning environment, maintaining accurate advising records, and contributing to learner engagement initiatives and workshops. The Sr Academic Advisor may additionally lead complex cases, mentor junior advisors, and contribute to process improvements in advising and counseling services.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learners’ personal, academic, and professional development.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear spoken and written communication, and the ability to build trust with diverse learners.Candidates should possess solid Academic Advising and Education-related skills to guide learners on program selection, academic planning, and progress tracking.Relevant experience in academic advising, student services, or counseling within higher education or professional learning environments is beneficial.A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred; advanced qualifications or certifications in counseling or career guidance are an advantage.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with learner data and digital advising tools are beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-first mindset is highly valued.Interested candidates share your updated resume on arijit.singh@herovired.com or give a call/whatsapp on 9217354731
