Job descriptionRole & responsibilitiesWe are seeking a seasoned Academic & Career Counselor with a strong background in school-based counseling, now ready to bring their expertise into a consulting environment. This role focuses on guiding students from Grades 8-12 across different educational boards [CBSE/IGCSE/IB etc], helping them make informed decisions on subject choices, career paths, and profile building strategies, using a wide range of psychometric assessment tools.Student Guidance and Career Counseling : Grades 8-12Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of students.Help students explore interests, strengths, and learning preferences to choose the right subjects/ subject combinations in Grade 9-10.Assist in aligning subject combinations, co-curriculars, and activities with target career fields and future study options.Facilitate career discovery and decision-making sessions based on students profiles, aspirations, and trends in higher education.Educate students & parents on academic pathways, interdisciplinary options, and emerging career fields.Offer guidance on competitive exams, national and international university pathways, and profile requirements.Profile Building (Grades 812):Design customized profile-building roadmaps in line with students' interests, aptitudes, and future plans.Recommend extracurriculars, internships, summer programs, volunteer opportunities, competitions, and certification courses.Track and document each students development journey and progress over time.Psychometric Assessments:Administer, interpret, and explain a range of assessments including:Personality tests (e.g., MBTI)Aptitude and Interest assessmentsLearning style and value-based testsAny other Testing ToolsTranslate assessment outcomes into actionable guidance plans for students and parents.Preferred candidate profileMasters degree in Counseling Psychology, Education, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in school or academic counseling, preferably with a K12 focus.Certified in administering and interpreting psychometric tools.Familiar with multiple curricula (CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, etc.) and post-secondary options (India & Abroad).Experience with career counseling platforms and digital assessment tools.A track record of successful stream/career guidance and student outcomes.Exposure to international education systems and application processes.Role: Customer Success ManagerIndustry Type: Education / TrainingDepartment: Customer Success, Service & OperationsEmployment Type: Full Time, PermanentRole Category: Customer SuccessEducationPG: Any PostgraduateKey SkillsSkills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskillsStudent CounselingReporting AnalysisCareer DevelopmentCareer CounsellingPsychometric TestingPsychologyCareer PlanningEducation CounselingCounselling
