We're Hiring – Academic Content Developer (Higher Education) 📍 Location: Kochi, Kerala | Work From Office 💼 Experience: 6+ Years 🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced and research-oriented Academic Content Developer specializing in higher education to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent academic writing skills, and experience developing curriculum and educational content for college-level programs. We welcome candidates with expertise in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, innovation, and other specialized or interdisciplinary fields of higher education. Candidates who can research and develop content for new, evolving, and future-oriented areas of study are particularly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Develop and curate academic content, curriculum, and learning materials for college-level and higher-education programs. Research and develop content across IT specializations, Computer Science, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, innovation, and other contemporary fields of study. Identify emerging industry trends, new technologies, and future-oriented disciplines to support the development of relevant academic programs. Create syllabus-aligned question banks, assignments,quizzes, and examination papers. Prepare detailed answer keys, model solutions, marking schemes, and assessment blueprints. Develop course structures, learning objectives, modules, and academic resources aligned with program outcomes. Review and validate academic content for technical accuracy, relevance, clarity, and academic quality. Research new and interdisciplinary subjects and translate complex concepts into structured, learner-friendly educational materials. Collaborate with academic teams and subject matter experts to develop and continuously improve learning content. Ensure that academic materials remain relevant to evolving industry requirements and advancements in technology. Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in academic content development, curriculum design, higher-education teaching, research, or educational assessment. Strong subject expertise in one or more areas of IT, Computer Science, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, innovation, or related disciplines. Excellent academic writing, research, analytical, and content-review skills. Ability to understand complex technical or conceptual subjects and develop structured academic content. Experience creating curricula, course materials, assessments, question banks, or academic resources for college-level programs. Ability to research unfamiliar or emerging subject areas and develop accurate, well-organized learning materials. Strong English writing and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in higher education, EdTech, educational publishing, academic research, or curriculum development. Familiarity with emerging and interdisciplinary areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), and related technologies. Knowledge of entrepreneurship, startup ecosystems, business innovation, design thinking, or technology commercialization. Experience designing new courses, specialized programs, industry-oriented curricula, or future-focused academic modules.
