WSU Tech is seeking an Academic Coordinator to provide administrative and program support for an assigned academic program while supporting the Dean and faculty. This position plays an important role in keeping daily operations organized and ensuring faculty, staff, and students have the support and resources they need.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Pay: $23.01 per hourPosition Type: Full-Time

Location: WSU Tech SouthKey ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to faculty, adjunct faculty, coordinators, and lead instructorsMaintain calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with meeting agendas, documentation, and minutesManage incoming correspondence, emails, and other communicationsPerform general administrative and clerical duties, including answering phones, filing, copying, mailing, and bookkeepingCoordinate faculty meetings, adjunct faculty in-service training, team meetings, and department meetingsPrepare, manage, review, and summarize reports, documents, memos, and correspondenceMaintain information on the WSU Tech Intranet and adjunct faculty databaseManage VISA expenses and travel-related documentation for assigned programsCoordinate purchasing documents, supplies, and invoices for paymentAssist with the maintenance of offices, classrooms, labs, and equipmentPrepare and submit adjunct faculty load and compensation payments and maintain related recordsComplete required professional development activitiesMaintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulationsProtect confidential and sensitive informationPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentFive years of administrative experience, preferably in higher educationPrevious bookkeeping and accounting experienceStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong math, spelling, computer, and calculator skillsAbility to communicate professionally and courteously with employees and the publicStrong attention to detailPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degreeBenefitshttps://wsutech.edu/whyhere/WSU Tech is committed to inclusive and equitable practices to create an environment and culture where students and employees thrive.
