Team members join a mission-driven environment committed to impacting every learner’s life.Role Description The Academic Counsellor role at Infinity Learn is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Academic Counsellor will guide prospective and existing learners in selecting appropriate courses and learning paths, explaining program structures, schedules, and expected outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counselling sessions (in-person, telephonic, and online), addressing learners’ academic queries, and supporting them in planning exam preparation strategies. The role also involves coordinating with teaching and operations teams, tracking learner progress, and providing feedback to enhance the learning experience. Academic Counsellors are expected to maintain accurate records of interactions, follow up with learners and families, and contribute to enrollment growth and learner satisfaction.Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and families.Counselling or guidance skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and the ability to recommend suitable academic pathways.Basic proficiency in using digital tools and online learning platforms; comfort with phone, email, and chat-based support.Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple counselling sessions, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.Understanding of school and competitive exam curricula (e.g., board exams, entrance tests) is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.Prior experience in academic counselling, edtech, or education services is preferred but not strictly required.Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
