This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves conducting counselling sessions, understanding learner aspirations, and recommending appropriate higher education and skill-development pathways. The Academic Counsellor will handle inquiries through calls, emails, and in-person meetings, support applicants through the admission and enrollment process, and maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams to stay updated on program offerings, conducting information sessions or presentations, and providing feedback on learner needs to help enhance EduKyu’s academic solutions.QualificationsStrong counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand learner goals and recommend suitable programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, working professionals, and stakeholders.Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple enquiries, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.Basic proficiency in using digital tools and CRM or student management systems for tracking leads and learner journeys.Knowledge of higher education trends, industry-relevant programs, and career development pathways.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Career Counselling, Management, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, or education services is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a learner-centric mindset and commitment to ethical, inclusive guidance.
