Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assisting with career exploration, and helping students understand program requirements and progression options. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, preparing reports, and collaborating with faculty and administrative staff to support student success. The Academic Counselor will also organize information sessions and workshops, respond to student inquiries in a timely manner, and contribute to continuous improvement of counseling processes and resources.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners in their educational journeys.Candidates should possess effective Communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse students and stakeholders.Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to guide students in exploring and planning professional pathways.Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Education principles and practices relevant to academic guidance.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; advanced credentials or certifications in counseling are an advantage.Experience in academic or student services settings, preferably in higher education or training institutions.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple cases, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.Proficiency with student information systems and basic office software; strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
