The counselor will guide learners through program selection, academic planning, and progression, ensuring alignment with their career goals in fields such as data and business analytics or investment banking. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, supporting learners with academic challenges, and coordinating closely with faculty and placement teams to monitor learner performance and outcomes. The role also involves providing career counseling, organizing information sessions and workshops, maintaining accurate counseling records, and proactively engaging learners and guardians to support overall academic success and employability.Qualifications Strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners throughout their educational journey.Career Counseling expertise to help learners map programs and skills to realistic career paths and opportunities.Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to present information to individuals and groups.Background in Education or related fields, with an understanding of skill-based and industry-aligned training programs.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Management, or a related discipline.Experience working with students or early-career professionals, preferably in an academic institution or training academy.Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities, with attention to detail and comfort using digital tools and CRM or LMS platforms.Empathetic, learner-centric approach, with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, mentors, and placement teams.
