The role involves guiding prospective and current students through program options, admissions processes, and learning pathways, ensuring they make informed decisions aligned with their career goals. The Academic Counselor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, respond to student queries, and provide ongoing academic advising and support throughout their learning journey. Responsibilities include coordinating with faculty and operations teams, tracking student progress, and recommending interventions to improve outcomes and engagement. The role also includes organizing information sessions, participating in outreach activities, and maintaining accurate records to support a high-quality student experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional speaking and writing.Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education guidance skills to support learners in planning global finance careers.Candidates should possess abilities in relationship-building, empathy, and problem-solving when working with diverse student populations.Relevant bachelor’s degree (Education, Psychology, Business, or related field); counseling or guidance certification is an advantage.Experience in academic counseling, admissions, or education services, preferably in professional or finance-related programs.Comfort with using digital tools, CRM or student management systems, and basic data tracking for student progress.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
