The company is driven by transparent, student-first policies and a commitment to turning medical aspirations into successful careers.Role Description The Academic Counselor role at Rus Education is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The counselor will guide prospective and enrolled students through the entire process of choosing and pursuing MBBS programs abroad, including understanding eligibility, course options, and university requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, explaining admission procedures, supporting students with documentation, and coordinating with internal teams for applications, visa processing, and pre-departure formalities. The counselor will also provide ongoing academic advising, career counseling related to medical pathways, and regular follow-ups with students and families to address queries and concerns. This role requires maintaining accurate records, participating in outreach activities such as seminars or education fairs, and contributing to a supportive, ethical, student-centered counseling environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to guide learners through course selection, admission processes, and academic planning.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related expertise to advise students on medical career pathways, licensing exams, and long-term academic goals.Relevant experience in education counseling, overseas education services, or academic support roles is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple student cases, use basic office and CRM software, and maintain accurate documentation.Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a student-centric approach to guidance and decision-making.
