Applicants can expect an education setting dedicated to both academic excellence and competitive exam success.Role Description The Academic Counselor for the Marketing Department is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves counseling prospective and new students about academic programs, integrated civil services preparation, and career pathways in alignment with the institution’s offerings. The Academic Counselor will conduct one-on-one and group advising sessions, support students in course selection, and guide them in understanding competitive exam requirements. This position collaborates closely with faculty and the marketing team to organize outreach events, seminars, and information sessions, and to communicate program benefits to students and families. The role also includes maintaining accurate advising records, following up with students on their academic progress, and contributing to initiatives that enhance student engagement and retention.Qualifications Proficiency in student-focused guidance, including Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills.Experience in academic support functions, such as Academic Advising and understanding of Education systems.Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain academic programs and career options clearly to diverse audiences.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student services, ideally within higher education or competitive exam coaching.Ability to work collaboratively with academic and marketing teams, manage multiple student cases, and use basic office and CRM software.High level of empathy, ethical practice, and commitment to supporting students from varied backgrounds.
