In this position, the counselor guides prospective and current learners through program selection, admission processes, and academic planning aligned with their career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, explaining course structures and outcomes, addressing student queries, and tracking learner progress. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams to resolve academic or administrative issues, and providing regular follow-ups to ensure learner satisfaction and retention. The counselor is expected to build strong professional relationships, uphold ethical advisory practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of counseling processes.Qualifications Candidate should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners in making informed education choices.Candidate should possess effective Communication skills to explain programs clearly, handle queries, and engage with diverse student profiles.Candidate should possess solid Career Counseling skills to align educational paths with short- and long-term career objectives.Candidate should possess a foundational understanding of Education systems and learning pathways, preferably in online or professional upskilling programs.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field are preferred.Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student support roles is highly beneficial.Ability to work with targets, manage multiple student cases, and use CRM or student management tools efficiently.Strong interpersonal skills, ethical judgment, and a learner-centric approach to advising.
