ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Location: Dubai, UAEDepartment: AcademicsReports To: CEO / DCEOPosition Level: Executive LeadershipSalary: AED 15,000 – 20,000 per monthKey Responsibility:Develop, implement, and monitor the organisation's academic strategy in alignment with its vision, mission, and long-term educational objectives.Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Principal, Vice Principal, Academic Head, Phase Coordinators, and academic leadership teams.Lead the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of curriculum frameworks.Establish and maintain effective systems for teaching, learning, assessment, quality assurance, and academic governance.Analyse student achievement data, examination results, assessment outcomes, and academic KPIs to drive evidence-based decisions.Lead instructional quality initiatives including classroom observations, coaching, mentoring, teacher evaluations, and professional development.Establish clear academic standards, instructional expectations, and performance benchmarks.Lead the development and implementation of assessment policies, intervention programmes, and student support strategies.Ensure academic programmes comply with KHDA, Ministry of Education, accreditation bodies, and other applicable regulatory requirements.Lead academic quality assurance, inspection readiness, accreditation activities, and continuous school improvement programmes.Develop and implement academic policies, procedures, and governance frameworks that promote accountability and educational excellence.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, research-informed practice, and continuous professional learning.Lead professional development programmes to strengthen leadership capability, instructional effectiveness, and staff performance.Support succession planning, talent development, and academic leadership capacity building.Prepare executive academic reports, performance analyses, strategic recommendations, and school improvement updates for the CEO, DCEO, and Board.Collaborate with executive leadership on academic planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.Build strong relationships with parents, regulatory authorities, accreditation agencies, educational partners, and other stakeholders.Represent the organisation at relevant educational forums and professional engagements.Promote the effective use of technology, digital learning, emerging educational practices, and evidence-based instructional methodologies.Ensure appropriate risk management, safeguarding, compliance, and professional standards across academic operations.Undertake additional executive academic responsibilities as assigned by the CEO / DCEO.Candidate Requirements:3–5 years of academic leadership experience in DubaiMandatory experience with KHDA inspections and complianceExperience in private school academic leadership is preferredStrong understanding of curriculum, assessment, teaching quality, and school improvementProven experience working at a senior academic leadership levelStrong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesWorking Hours;Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMFriday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PMApplyInterested candidates who meet the above criteria are invited to submit their updated CV for consideration.Email: careers@nayakinternational.comWhatsApp: +971 54 778 9829 (CV submissions only – No Calls)Subject: Academic Development Manager – Dubai
