Academic Mentor

Role Description The Academic Mentor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the mentor will guide learners through academic programs, clarify subject concepts, and support learners in building strong study habits and problem-solving skills. Daily responsibilities include conducting training sessions, offering one-on-one mentoring, monitoring academic progress, and providing constructive feedback. The Academic Mentor will collaborate with internal teams to align learning outcomes with curriculum standards, prepare learning materials as needed, and maintain accurate records of learner performance. The role also involves communicating regularly with stakeholders to ensure that educational goals and expectations are met.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to build trust, motivate learners, and create a supportive learning environment.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication for explaining concepts and providing feedback.Candidates should possess solid Mathematics skills to mentor learners effectively in quantitative subjects and problem-solving.Candidates should possess Education and Training skills, including experience in academic mentoring, teaching, or facilitating learning.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple learners, and maintain organized academic records.Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a learner-centered approach; prior experience in coaching or tutoring is preferred.
