The institution offers opportunities to contribute to education that is both academically rigorous and socially relevant.Role Description The Academic Mentor role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Academic Mentor will support learners by providing guidance in academic planning, clarifying subject concepts, and assisting with study strategies and exam preparation. Responsibilities include mentoring students individually and in small groups, monitoring academic progress, and collaborating with faculty to identify learners who need additional support. The role involves conducting academic workshops, facilitating training sessions, and encouraging holistic development, including communication and critical thinking skills. The Academic Mentor will maintain accurate records of student interactions, provide feedback to relevant academic teams, and contribute to initiatives that enhance learning outcomes and student engagement.Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trustful, supportive mentoring relationships with learners.Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication suited to diverse academic levels.Sound knowledge of Mathematics and related analytical skills to support learners in numeracy and problem-solving.Background in Education and Training, with experience in academic mentoring, tutoring, or teaching.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a relevant academic discipline.Ability to plan and deliver academic support programs, workshops, and skill-building sessions.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and support staff.Comfort working with diverse student populations and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered practices.Basic proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems.
