The company aspires to be a lifelong learning companion, helping learners reach their full potential without barriers related to cost or location.Role Description The Academic Mentor (Post Sales) – Edtech – UNext role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru North. This role involves guiding learners throughout their academic journey after enrollment, including onboarding support, clarifying course expectations, and helping them navigate the learning platform. The Academic Mentor will provide regular academic check-ins, address learner queries related to program content and assessments, and offer coaching to improve study habits and time management. Responsibilities include coordinating with faculty and internal teams to resolve academic and administrative issues, monitoring learner progress, and proactively engaging at-risk learners to support successful course completion. The role also includes collecting learner feedback, contributing to continuous improvement of academic support processes, and maintaining accurate records of learner interactions.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse learner base.Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English.Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mathematics, with the ability to support learners in quantitative coursework where applicable.Candidates should possess Education and Training-related skills, such as mentoring, coaching, and facilitating learner success.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Experience in edtech, academic counseling, student support, or teaching is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru North, manage multiple learners and tasks simultaneously, and use digital tools and LMS platforms confidently.Strong problem-solving abilities, learner-centric mindset, and willingness to work flexible hours based on learner needs.
