Its long-term vision is to be a lifelong learning companion, helping individuals unlock their potential without limitations of cost or location.Role Description The Academic Mentor – Retention & Renewals is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role involves engaging regularly with learners to guide them through their academic journey, address challenges, and encourage course completion. The Academic Mentor will monitor learner progress, analyze performance data, and proactively reach out to at-risk learners to improve retention and success rates. They will coordinate with academic and support teams to resolve issues, clarify program requirements, and provide timely academic and administrative guidance. The role also includes conducting mentoring sessions, supporting learners during key milestones, and working on strategies that drive renewals and long-term engagement with UNext’s programs.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, motivate learners, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Education and Training, with experience mentoring or teaching learners in academic or professional settings.Candidates should possess basic Mathematics skills sufficient to interpret learner performance data, academic scores, and program requirements.Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, empathy, and learner-centric mindset, with the ability to manage multiple learners and priorities.Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or a related field; prior experience in academic advising, student success, or EdTech is highly beneficial.Comfort with online learning platforms, data tracking tools, and MS Office or similar applications is preferred.
