About the jobRole on behalf of Luxoft Financial Services UK Limited Australia BranchProject Description:We are seeking an experienced Banking Project Manager to serve as the equivalent of a Service Delivery Manager for a Core Banking Application for our client, a major Australian bank. This role involves managing both internal and external stakeholders, overseeing a technical project team, and coordinating across multiple streams within a transformation program.Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with key customer representatives and management.The primary focus areas include the ongoing delivery of the software product and adherence to service level agreements, meeting key delivery dates and customer expectations for business projects, and achieving critical outcomes for the transformation program. The role also requires ensuring that objectives and outcomes are met within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist in driving delivery and strategic outcomes in collaboration with the Customer Support Manager and Client Partner.Responsibilities:Coordinate and triage incoming work requestsManage a team of onshore and offshore resourcesManage estimation and resource assignmentCreate and manage Project SchedulesPerform regular risk assessment and risk managementDevelop regular status reportingWork closely with the project team, showing understanding of their competing prioritiesManage resource, project outcomes and BAU personnel to ensure they achieve SLAsManage project resources from scoping through to testing and implementation phasesComplete Project shutdown activitiesBuild new business opportunitiesMandatory Skills Description:5-10 years experience in Project Management in a Banking Finance DomainDemonstated record of running Managed Services agendaa demonstrated record of successful delivery of projectsPeople and team leadership skillsAbility to work on multiple project assignments simultaneouslySolid knowledge of Banking and Finance industryStrong Leadership and verbal and written communication skillsDisciplined and organized approach-Eagerness to learn, good initiative and flexibilityEagerness to teach and to share their skills with team membersNice-to-Have Skills Description:Experience in Hogan & delivery projects
